Your ham is fully cooked and just needs to be reheated. We recommend the following method:

  • Preheat oven to 275˚F.
  • Remove all packaging materials and place ham in a shallow roasting pan.
  • Ham should be cooked flat/face-side down. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 275˚F for approximately 15 minutes per pound. Internal temperature should be 145 ˚F. Do not overcook!
  • Remove ham from oven and let stand 20 to 30 minutes before serving.

If glazing is desired:

  • You can use the recipe below or for a simpler glaze, use one of our local jellies or jams.
  • Remove ham from oven. Remove foil and turn ham on its side. CAUTION: Ham will be hot. Use utensils to turn ham.
  • 1 cup light brown sugar-packed
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • Bring the ingredients to a boil together on medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
  • Pour onto ham and bake uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes in 275°F oven
